10 Days to PSSA

The boxes have arrived!!!!! Dick Clark is on the school roof!!!!! March Madness starts Monday!!!!

We are beginning to print gotcha cards. We are water marking them so that they cannot be duplicated. We will post an armed guard at the copier when we begin to run them off. We are considering serial numbers does anyone know a notary.
6th Blue made books about PSSA power point techniques and how to do there best on the test. They are awesome see them for details.

Next Friday our Mathletics assemblies and goal setting brackets will occur. Still looking for adult games for the assemblies. Times will be determined early next week. You will get your mathletis assignments by next Wednesday. Some homerooms will have 2 adults in them. I don't see a need for a big formal theme but if you have mini-theme ideas please let me know.

We will also send out Mathletics schedule for the following week.

Next Friday a newsletter will go home with progress reports detailing our events for Testing week.

Look below. The Simpsons will do an episode on standardize testing this Sunday-set your DVRs. Bart asks the teacher what # pencil are we using?... and she says # 2. He then says she said #2. He chuckles to himself. (If you don't get the joke you are not as jaded as the rest of us)
That is the commercial for the episode-IS NOTHING SACRED!
